TV Actor Parth Samthaan Booked By Mumbai Police After Model Files Molestation Complaint

Parth Samthaan, star of the popular TV show Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, has been accused of molesting a 20-year-old model. The model has registered a complaint against the actor at Bangur Nagar Police Station.
The TV actor was booked under Section 8 and 12 of POSCO Act in the complaint which was filed on April 23.
In the FIR, the model states that Parth Samthaan misbehaved with her and then he and his friends shared her details on WhatsApp. She claims that she then began receiving "insulting and shameful" calls from men asking for "favours".
In her statement, she said that Samthaan had propositioned her several times but she had politely refused.
"After returning from a party in an alcoholic state, Parth misbehaved with me. After which I stopped contact with him for some time and he really apologised and as we have been friends for years, I decided to forgive him for the behaviour but soon after that, I started getting insulting and shameful calls from boys who would want favours from me," she reportedly stated in the FIR.
Parth has moved anticipatory bail application in Dindoshi Court, which is likely to be heard tomorrow.
Ealier this year, another model had accused Parth of inappropriate behaviour. The actor had grabbed headlines a few years ago after he accused producer Vikas Gupta of molesting him.
