Reason? Traffic, which seems to be increasing by the day.
The actress lives in Goregaon and has to commute approximately 75 km daily to and from Naigaon for the shoot of her daily soap.

“Every day, I struggle to get back home early, but if I leave the Naigaon set at 9 pm by car, I reach home only by 11 pm. And I’ve to leave again by 7 am the next day. The horrible traffic has forced me to use public transport. I have no issues travelling by train as it takes lesser time, but I’m appalled at the condition of Mumbai’s lifeline — the trains are in such a bad condition,” laments Saumya.

Another problem the actress faces is people asking her for pictures all the time. She points out that after a 12-hour shift, she is ‘completely drained’ and wants to be by herself. “They don’t realise that I don’t want to be performing all the time in front of the camera or off it. I just want to feel a little human,” explains Saumya.
