HIT OR FLOP: Shakti, Rising Star 2, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Tashan-E-Ishq?

Week 7 (February
10-16) threw up a number of unexpected results on the leader board. To begin
with, Colors’ Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, which has been a consistent
performer for several weeks now, dropped significantly this time -- the family
drama went from a cool No. 4 to 10.
We wonder what
led to such a drastic fall. Shakti... has been one of the Top 5 shows for a
while.

The second season
of Rising Star made an entry into Top 10 in its first week of going on-air.
However, its ratings didn’t impress post that. Now, in Week 7, the talent hunt
registered an improved performance and acquired the 6th spot.

The week in
question also brought smiles to the faces of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein makers. For,
the family dram soared from 9th to the 5thposition.
Doesn’t come as a
surprise since the producer behind the show – Ekta Kapoor – knows the tricks of
the trade well.

Making a surprise
entry to the Top 10 is Colors show, Tashan-E-Ishq. The daily soap clinched the 4th spot.
It will be interesting to see if this show turns out to be a one-time wonder or
manages to be a staple on this list.

guessing that Kundali Bhagya, Kumkum Bhagya and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
were the Top 3 shows in Week 7 too. Talk about a loyal fan following.

Super Dancer 2
which has Shilpa Shetty, Geeta Kapur and Anurag Basu as judges slipped by two
positions. Sonakshi Sinha was the guest in the week in question. But looks like
her appearance didn’t help the show’s ratings.
