Kapil Sharma FAILS To Return To the Top 10, Divyanka Tripathi SOARS
Your weekly dope on the ongoing TV shows. The Kapil Sharma Show fails to make an appearance in the Top 10 for the third consecutive week. Kumkum Bhagya is back at No. 2
Post the news of Kapil Sharma’s mid-air-brawl with his
colleagues on their way back from Australia, The Kapil Sharma Show has
witnessed a continuous drop in viewership.
The show dropped to No.9 in Week 13 (March 24-30), and since then vanished from the Top 10.

It is clear from the rating since last month that Sunil
Grover was chiefly responsible for grabbing the attention of the viewers. In
addition to this it’s evident that Kapil Sharma’s image too has suffered a
beating. The host and his team have now tried every trick in their book –
A-list stars, singers, popular comedians, below-the-belt jokes – to boost their
show, but to no avail.
The Kapil Sharma Show has gone from bad to worse with
each passing day. Earlier this month, it was reported that Sony Entertainment
Television had given Kapil one month to get things back, post which they will
take a call on the renewal of his contract – his contract officially terminates
on April 29.

Meanwhile, Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starring
Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel has risen 3 notches upward to cling to No. 7.
Divyanka along with real-life husband Vivek Dahiya, are one of the most loved
couples on Star’s reality dance show Nach Baliye 8. Recently, Divyanka was in
the news due to her injured back.
Nach at present is on the 19th position.

Talking about the shows that have moved up the ladder in
the last 7days, Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya is on the 2nd slot after 2 weeks.
Colors’ Shani too has shown improvement by making it to
No. 6. Another show from their stable – Ek Shringaar – Swabhimaan – made an
entry in the Top 10 this week.
Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya starring Devoleena
Bhattacharjee and Mohammad Nazim too has made it into the coveted 10.

managed to retain their last week positions of No 1 & 5 respectively.
