Rubina-Vivian’s Shakti Slips; Saath Nibhaana Saathiya Moves Up
Here is the weekly dope on your favourite TV shows. Week 48 witnessed a complete turn of tables in television show rankings. Star Plus’ Saath Nibhaana Saathiya had an impressive week
Week 48 (November 25 to December 1) witnessed a turn-about in the standing of all but two shows. Color’s Naagin 2, starring Mouni Roy, Karanveer Bohra and Adaa Khan is still the reigning Queen securing the No. 1 spot for the entire last month ( 4 weeks).

Sony Television’s children’s dance reality –Super Dancer- judged by Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapoor maintained its No. 9 position.
But what can be described as shocking, Colors’ Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki plummeted from No 2 to No.7.

The show, for the past several weeks sustained its position as the second most watched serial, and was even successful in defeating Naagin 2 in week 44 (Viewers Choose Kapil Sharma Over Salman Khan, Naagin 2 Loses No.1 Spot To Shakti, Nov 10).

Another twist comes from Star Plus’ Saath Nibhaana Saathiya which makes a surprising entry in the Top 3 by securing the No. 2 slot. Shakti makers must be cursing the Saath Nibhana Saathiya makers. Looks like Gopi-Ahem’s (Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Mohammad Nazim) marriage in the show has propelled the rise in viewership.

The combined presence of Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan (Nov 26) and Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor (Nov 27) on The Kapil Sharma Show, couldn’t help it to sustain itself at No.3 and it has plunged down to No.5.

Zee TV’s Shabbir Ahluwalia-Sriti Jha starrer Kumkum Bhagya too slipped from No.4 to No. 6. The show had remained at No.4 for the last 4 weeks.

Star Plus' Yeh Hai Mohabbatein climbed the ladder being the fourth highest viewed drama while the channel's other show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai dipped, just managing to scrape through into the Top 10.
