Zayed Khan-Vatsal Sheth's Haasil FAILS To Impress, Rekha Gives THRUST To Super Dancer 2
Your weekly dope on the ongoing TV shows. Sony's Haasil starring Zayed Khan, Vatsal Sheth and Nikita Dutta registers a gradual decline in impressions. However, Week 49 (December 2-9) proved to be a delightful one for Super Dancer 2 as it soared to No. 4
It has been six weeks since Zayed Khan, Vatsal Sheth and
Nikita Dutta starrer Haasil went on air (October 31). There was immense
hype around the thriller considering it marked Zayed’s foray into television.
However, it’s bad news for the channel (Sony) and makers
(the show is produced by Siddhartha P Malhotra under the banner of Alchemy
Productions), for Haasil has failed to lure the audience. While it isn’t one of
the sought after shows on Indian television is another matter, its average
impressions have been declining week after week.

It’s evident that the show started on a high note with
24,75,000 viewers tuning in, it declined with every passing week. So much so
that in Week 6 only 9,68,000 followed it.
Goes without saying, Zayed has not been able to make the
desired impact on his fans and from the looks of it, the ‘thrill’ quotient of
the plot has not been enough either. What’s more, Vatsal’s recent marriage
to Ishita Dutta too failed to provide the necessary thrust to Haasil.

At the moment, the writers and makers need to burn
the midnight oil
to be able to get the ratings going.

Furthermore, Super Dancer 2, which has been restricted to the bottom of the barrel for weeks now, showcased a massive jump in Week 49 (December 2-9). It climbed from No. 10 to 4.

The week in question had Rekha as guest and looks like fans loved the ageless beauty’s presence on the children’s reality show. The actress made an appearance to boost the contestants’ morale and watch them perform on her iconic numbers.

Rekha shook a leg with Shilpa Shetty and Geeta Kapur who
were visibly excited to share the stage with the diva.
As for the rest of the shows, Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya
trumped Kundali Bhagya to be the No.1 show this week. The latter was on the
second spot.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was the third
most-watched show, while Bigg Boss Weekend Ka Vaar acquired the 5th spot.
