actress Dipika Kakar is one of the most talked about celebrity contestants of
the Bigg Boss 12 house. One of the controversies to surround her is that she
has been ‘strategically’ spending time in the kitchen. The show’s fans have
been accusing her of copying last season’s winner. SpotboyE.com got in touch
with the actress’ husband Shoaib Ibrahim who gave us his take on the
matter. Excerpts from the conversation:
How is home
without Deepika?
I am missing her
a lot. I feel her absence in every aspect of life. In fact, she has been inside
the house for a few days and I am already tensed as to how I will manage
three-and-a-half months. Let’s see kaise niklenge ye din.
What do you
do when you miss her?
I am watching
the show every day. I also visit Voot to watch the unseen footage.

What do you
think of her progress in the house?
She is getting
better by the day. Now, she looks settled. But before entering the house she
told me that if things go downhill in the house, main bathroom mein jaakar ro
loongi but sabke saamne nahin.
Buzz was that
you were supposed to be part of Bigg Boss 12...
Yes, initially,
the show was offered to both of us. But we both take care of our families and
my father keeps unwell. Hence, we came to a conclusion that only one person can
go inside. It had to be Dipika because it is the right time for her to explore
herself.
Have you
followed the previous seasons?
I always wanted
to participate in Bigg Boss. I follow the show and have seen almost all
seasons. So, in the future if they give me a chance to be a part of it, I will
take up. Of course, if my commitments at that point allow me to do so.
What tips did
you give to Dipika before she went inside the house?
I just told her
to be the way she is. It’s just a game so don’t lose your dignity at any
cost.
In this
season who do you think will give tough competition to her?
Honestly, it’s too early
to judge and decide. And I don’t think anyone can pull her back as she is
strong and deserves to go ahead. I am sure she will win the show. I am waiting
for the right moment.

been spending a lot of time in the kitchen and many are of the opinion that she
is aping Shilpa Shinde...
I don’t think
you can compare two people. Every contestant has his/her strategy to get ahead
in the game. Dipika is a brilliant cook and loves to do so. In fact, not only
cooking, you will get to see her do other tasks such as cleaning the house,
washroom and washing clothes.

Bollywood film, Paltan, just hit theatres. Do you think that with Dipika inside
the Bigg Boss 12 house, her future projects are going to affected?
Dipika has
always been clear that she wants to do good work. When Bogg Boss 12 came her
way, we decided that she should do it.

Did their equation come as a shock to you?
Not shocking but
I was a little surprised. But they have decided to appear in Bigg Boss, I am
sure kuch soch samajhkar aaye honge. But with time audience will decide who are
real and who are faking it. We can’t judge them so soon.
