VIDEO: Ranbir Kapoor Skips His Own Birthday Bash!

Now this one’s quite interesting! So, it was Ranbir Kapoor’s
birthday yesterday which, interestingly, he shares with his aunt Rima Jain.
Since the occasion called for double celebration, Kapoor Khandaan thought of
throwing a big bash for the industry to celebrate Ranbir and Rima Jain’s
birthday.
Naturally, the
who’s who of the tinsel town came down to attend the actor’s birthday bash. But
guess what, the birthday boy skipped the party himself! Why, you ask? Well, we
will tell you the reason for that, but for now take a look at the guests who
came to wish Ranbir and Rima.
Amitabh Bachchan
came with daughter Shweta and wife Jaya Bachchan.
Saif Ali Khan
walked in with his begum Kareena Kapoor Khan, whose glow was hard to miss, and
Shashi Kapoor’ son Kunal Kapoor.
Karisma Kapoor
attended the bash with mother Babita.
Parents of the
birthday boy, Rishi Kapoor & the lovely Neetu Kapoor joined the party
together.
Karan Johar
walked in hurriedly, busy on a phone call. Guess it had more to do with
avoiding the media attention amidst the MNS controversy.
And now coming
back to our story as to why Ranbir skipped his own party? Here’s the dope.
We told you
yesterday that Ranbir is shooting at Film City studio in Goregaon for Jagga
Jasoos.
His shooting
schedule was from 2 pm to 2 am. Katrina Kaif too joined the shoot by 6 pm. Now,
unfortunately or fortunately, this led to Ranbir spending most of his birthday
with ex girlfriend Katrina. And since the shoot didn’t wrap up on time and some
important parts were still remaining to be shot, Ranbir chose to finish work
over attending his birthday bash.
And so the
birthday boy skipped his own party leaving the guests disappointed. Other
celebrities who attended the bash were Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty with wife and
daughter Athiya Shetty, Anil and Tina Ambani, Randhir Kapoor, Amrita
Arora with hubby and of course other members of the Kapoor clan.
As we sign off, a
question lingers our mind, if Katrina was also with Ranbir till the end of the
shoot-what would hold true? Ranbir chooses to work over partying with family
and friends or Ranbir chooses to work WITH KATRINA over partying with family
and friends?
You never know!
Maybe Ranbir felt like spending his special day with his former love. After
all, they still hold each other in greatest regard.
