VIDEO: 11 Bollywood Debutants To Watch Out For In 2017, From Zhu Zhu To Kanan Gill
This year will see the debut of many new interesting new faces in Bollywood, including the Chinese actress and the stand-up comedian
2017
is going to be a big year in terms of the number of big ticket movies which
will hit theatres. And like every year, there’ll be an induction of new faces
into tinsel town.
While
2016 may not have been a great year for debutants in Bollywood, with the most
anticipated fresh pair of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher failing to
impress, the second half was salvaged by some gritty performances by Diljit
Dosanjh in Udta Punjab and Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in Dangal.
However,
2017 looks different due to a sheer variety of actors making their debuts.
While a few of the debutants are star kids, we also have some digital stars
like Kanan Gill making their big screen debut. On top of that, there’s a
foreign import from China in the form of Zhu Zhu who’ll be seen opposite Salman
Khan in Tubelight. And we’re already excited for such a mix bag!
While
last year has already proved the fact that filmy backgrounds and hyped projects
are not enough to make a mark in the industry, this year’s debutants will have
to make sure to work twice as hard on their skills and hunger to perform.
From
the looks of it, we think 2017 is gonna be a better year in that respect!
