Ajay Devgn's Dhamaal 4 continues its successful run at the box office despite entering the weekday phase. After enjoying a blockbuster opening weekend, the comedy entertainer remained steady on its fifth day in theatres, showing that audience interest has not faded. The film has now collected an impressive ₹83.25 crore net in India, keeping it on track for a strong first-week finish.
Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 has brought back the much-loved comedy franchise with a star-studded ensemble cast led by Ajay Devgn, alongside Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan and several others. The film's blend of slapstick comedy, nostalgia and family-friendly entertainment has helped it attract audiences across age groups.
According to the latest box office figures, the film earned ₹9.50 crore on Day 5, registering an 8.6 per cent jump over Monday's collection of ₹8.75 crore. The slight increase indicates that positive word-of-mouth continues to benefit the film even after the weekend rush. With this, its total domestic net collection now stands at ₹83.25 crore.
The film has also been performing well internationally. Its worldwide gross has already crossed ₹115 crore, making it one of the biggest Bollywood successes of the year so far. Industry experts believe that if Dhamaal 4 maintains this pace over the next two days, it could comfortably wrap up its first week with collections between ₹85 crore and ₹90 crore in India.
However, the coming weekend could prove crucial for the film's long-term performance. With Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated The Odyssey scheduled to release on July 17, Dhamaal 4 is expected to face stiff competition at the box office. The Hollywood release may impact screen availability as well as audience footfall.
For now, though, Dhamaal 4 continues to enjoy a healthy run, proving that audiences are still in the mood for wholesome comedy and franchise entertainment.
