Ram Gopal Varma’s Veerappan continued with its poor performance over the weekend. The film, which garnered negative reviews, opened to a poor start and failed to gather momentum. It collected less than Rs 5 crore.
Pawan Kirpalani’s Phobia, which stars Radhika Apte in the lead role, also met with a similar fate at the ticket counters. In terms of collections (Rs 1.24 crore) , it fared worse than the biopic of the South Indian dacoit.
The buzz about Anu Menon’s Waiting is not great either.
