Bollywood's king of romance, Yash Chopra, taught us how to fall in love and stay there. He produced more than 50 films under his banner, Yash Raj Films and directed over 20 films during a career spanning five decades.
Yash Chopra received 11 Filmfare awards including four trophies for Best Director. He made his directorial debut with the 1959 film Dhool Ka Phool and launched Yash Raj Films in 1970. In 1973 his second project, Daag: A Poem of Love won the Filmfare trophy for the Best Movie.
It was his third directorial movie Waqt which established him as a cinematic force. Here is a look at some of his other iconic films
