Yesterday we told you that Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s father Surendra Shetty passed away at Kokilaben Hospital, Andheri, yesterday after a cardiac arrest (Shilpa Shetty’s Father Surendra Shetty Passes Away, Oct 11).
As soon as the news of his demise spread, close friends R Madhavan, his wife Sarita, and Harman Baweja rushed to be beside the actress. Surendra Shetty’s funeral was held at a crematorium near Pawan Hans, Vile Parle some time ago and several celebs including Salim Khan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, R Madhavan, Parvin Dabas, Preeti Jhangiani, Sophie Choudry were present.
