Raj Kapoor’s wife, Krishan Raj Kapoor is no more. Randhir Kapoor shared the sad news this morning and informed that his mother took her last breath at 5 am as she suffered a cardiac arrest. Her mortal remains have been brought to the Chembur bungalow from Breach Candy Hospital. Family members like Randhir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and a few more celebrities from the industry have reached Raj Kapoor’s bungalow.
A while back we told you about speculations being riff about Rishi Kapoor returning to India from the US. The veteran actor informed about his health a day back and said he is off to the US for a medical treatment. There is as of now no official confirmation about Rishi being in the US, reports are coming in that he left late Saturday late night, as the actor’s tweet read, “Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus” of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I will be back soon!
Randhir, while talking to PTI, said earlier in the morning, “My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest…old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise.” There is no news about the exact time of the funeral as of now. The early reports coming in are that the family is waiting for Ranbir Kapoor to return to India. He is in Abu Dhabi currently.
