Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrated their darling daughter Vamika's first birthday in South Africa. The family is in a bio bubble since Virat is playing for Team India in the ongoing Test series against South Africa. Anushka took to Instagram to give a glimpse of her baby girl's b'day bash and it is all things cute.
In the first photo, Virat and Anushka are seen raising a glass of champagne. The actress wrote , "The sun was bright, the light beautiful, the table full and just like that our little girl turned ONE!" She further added, "The evening was made extra special with the warmest people. And here, I was worried about her first birthday being in a bubble! She also shared a picture of herself, holding baby Vamika in her arms and captioned it, "My baby girl."
On Tuesday, Anushka Sharma's brother and her partner in production, Karnesh shared a collage of photos and penned a note. Sharing the picture, he wrote, "Happy growing up kiddo, lots more memories to the best parents."
Previously, during a Q&A session on Instagram, Virat revealed the meaning of his daughter's name. He said, "Vamika is another name for Goddess Durga.' He further added, 'We have decided as a couple to not expose our child on social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice."
