will begin from tomorrow. While many of us can’t control our excitement, here’s
an interesting scoop before the show goes on air. According to reports, Deepika
Padukone was the first one to know about his surrogacy kids, and she had kept
this secret till he officially announced it.
A report in DNA says, “The premiere episode of
his chat show, on Star World, which has Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt as the
first guests, the filmmaker pours his heart out about becoming a father through
surrogacy. Apparently, during the extremely emotional time when he got to know
that he would soon be taking his babies home, Deepika had incidentally called
him. And in that heart-to-heart conversation, he had broken the news to her and
swore her to secrecy, making her promise him that she would never share it with
anyone.”
A source told the leading daily, “Karan recalls
that neither his mother Hiroo Johar nor his brother Shah Rukh Khan had any
inkling about his parenthood plans. And until he himself announced it a couple
of months later, Deepika was the only one who knew about it and kept her
promise of not breathing a word to anyone.”
Meanwhile, the first episode of KJo’s chat show
in its sixth season has Deepika and Alia together. A few days back, the promo
of the first episode was released on social media, where Johar promises Deepika
to ‘not talk about the elephant in the room.’ Alia exclaims, “You can’t not
talk about the elephant in the room.” Then Deepika adds, “We must talk about
the elephant in the room.” The filmmaker then asks Deepika, “Having been in a
relationship with Ranbir, Alia is in one, right now...” Before KJo could
complete Deepika interrupts and says, “Don’t try and make it awkward, because
it was not.”
