Legendary actor Dilip Kumar passed away during early hours on Wednesday. He was 98. The veteran actor passed away due to an age-related illness in a Mumbai hospital. Since the news about Dilip Saab’s demise has been out, celebrities and actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan and several others made posts and paid tributes. Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi also made a tweet. Now, veteran actor Dharmendra made a post and shared a picture with Dilip Saab. He expressed his sadness.

Dharmendra shared a picture of Dilip Kumar and him on his Instagram. The throwback picture is clicked at an event. The photo shows Dilip Saab giving Dharmendra a peck on his cheeks. The memorable photo brings back memories and reminds us of the bond they shared. Along with the picture, Dharmendra expressed he is ‘extremely sad’. He said he is sad to lose his ‘most affectionate brother’ in the industry. Dharmendra wrote, “Extremely sad to loose my most affectionate brother in the industry. Jannat naseeb ho, Hamare Dalip Sahab ko (sic)” Dharmendra has visited the late actor's residence to pay his final respects.

Earlier in the day, Faisal Farooqui shared the news about Dilip Kumar’s demise via the actor’s official Twitter handle. He tweeted, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return. - Faisal Farooqui.” Speaking with Indian Express, Dr Jalil Parkar confirmed that the legendary actor passed away at 7:30 AM on Wednesday. Dilip Kumar was known for his stellar performances in the movies. He was one of the greatest actors in Indian cinema. Some of his best films are Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Kranti and others. Dilip Kumar is survived by his wife, Saira Banu.
