Filmmaker Farah Khan around Christmas had alerted her followers of her Twitter account being hacked. In her social media post she mentioned not to reply to any messages received from the filmmaker’s Twitter account neither to click on any link which shall allow the hacker a direct entry into the user’s account. Following this she was helped by husband Shirish Kunder to retrieve her account. Now taking to her Twitter account she has thanked few more people from the Cyber cell department as well as buddy-filmmaker Karan Johar.
The Happy New Year director also thanked Twitter India, individuals named Siddharth Kadam and Cheryl Ann Couto. On the closing note she asked everyone to be vigilant about the activities those occur on the social media platform. She tweeted, “Thank you @cherylanncouto@TwitterIndia for reinstating my Twitter handle after it was hacked and deleted.. n special thanks to @karanjohar @siddharthkadam for facilitating this.. also @MahaCyber1for being so helpful. Be vigilant people.” Along with her Twitter account, her Instagram account was also hacked.
Back then informing her followers about the same, she tweeted, “My Twitter account has been hacked as of last evening. Please do not click or reply if you get any message from it as it may be used to hack into your account too.”
After the account was restored, she dropped a
throwback picture that saw young Shah Rukh Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Tabu, Karan Johar, Farah Khan and more posing after an award ceremony.
