There were hot rumours that Ishita and Vatsal were seeing each other when they acted together in Rishton Ka Saudagar Baazigar aired on Life OK. Vatsal studied school at Utpal Shanghvi,, did his Junior College at Gokalibai Punamchand Pitambar High School and received his degree in Mathematics from Mithibai College. He also wrote a few games in GW-BASIC and Pascal (programming language). He intended to become a software engineer which he later dropped after receiving his first significant role as Jai in Just Mohabbat.

But both of them had lied and denied their relationship, despite the fact that onlookers had seen them  locked together inside vanity vans for hours.
