After Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan is all set to make her digital debut. Yes, you read that right! If reports are to be believed, Jaya Bachchan will be marking her OTT debut with the web series tentatively titled 'Sadabahar'. Reportedly, she will be seen playing a powerful character in Endemol Shine India's upcoming project.

According to reports, the veteran actor had started shooting for the upcoming web series in February. She kept shooting for the show, however, the shoot of the show came to a halt after the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic hit India and the Maharashtra government imposed a full-fledged lockdown in mid-April. Now that things are slowly getting better and the government has allowed production houses to resume work, the team of Sadabahar has also resumed shooting for the show.

The reports also suggest that the team shot two sequences, one at Sony Mony and another at Apna Bazaar in Andheri, this week. The shot took place in a strict bio-bubble format comprising only 50 members in the unit. Although the story is being shot in real locations, the makers of the show are careful while taking all the necessary precautions and safety norms.

With Sadabahar, Jaya Bachchan will return to the screen after almost after 5 years. The veteran actor was last seen in Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor starrer Ki & Ka. She made a special guest appearance along with husband Amitabh Bachchan. Jaya Bachchan is the third member of the Bachchan family to enter the digital world. Abhishek Bachchan made his OTT debut with Breathe: Into The Shadows. Big B made his digital debut with Shoojit Sircar's Gulabo Sitabo.
