Hollywood actor John Krasinski has reacted to the growing global conversation around Indian cinema and Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster Dhurandhar, as the film continues receiving immense love for Ranveer’s portrayal of spy agent Hamza Ali Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi.
Much like Krasinski’s iconic spy character Jack Ryan, Ranveer Singh’s character in Dhurandhar is also portrayed as an undercover man constantly risking his life for his country. The emotionally intense and action-packed performance by Ranveer Singh has become one of the biggest talking points among audiences globally, with fans praising the depth, intensity, and screen presence he brought to the role.
When asked whether he had watched Dhurandhar and what he thinks about Indian cinema, John Krasinski admitted he has not yet seen the film but had high praise for Indian filmmaking as a whole. "I haven't seen the film. But as far as Indian films at large, some of the most cutting-edge movie making that we have. I know a lot of my filmmaking friends who are out there trying to direct movies are constantly and consistently blown away by films coming out from over there," John Krasinski told.
The actor further expressed interest in watching Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster if he gets an opportunity. "Of course. I love watching anything. It's always inspiring to see what everybody else is doing," he added.
