Kangana Ranaut returned to her hometown of Manali yesterday and informed fans about the same after a week of drama. Amidst Ranaut’s ongoing tussle with the Maharashtra government, her Pali Hill office, Manikarnika Films was demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for ‘structural violation’. Parts of Kangana’s office were demolished by the BMC on September 9, just before the actress arrived in the city. Now, after reaching her hometown, Kangana Ranaut issues notice to BMC demanding damage compensation for the damage done to her property.
According to a report in Times, Kangana Ranaut has issued a notice to the BMC seeking compensation to the damage done to her property. The report stated that Kangana has issued a notice demanding a hefty amount. As per the report, the Manikarnika actress has demanded a Rs 2 Crore damage compensation from the BMC. The report mentioned that the notice issued by Ranaut demands a Rs 2 Crore compensation from the BMC, after they demolished parts of her office.
For the unversed, a few days back, Kangana took to her Twitter handle and shared videos of BMC officials and alleged they forcefully entered her Pali Hill office. The actress alleged that the BMC entered her office and threatened to demolish it. Ranaut then revealed that she received no prior notice from the BMC on the same matter. Later, on September 9, a day after putting up a notice outside Kangana’s Pali Hill office, parts of the office were demolished by the BMC, until the Bombay High Court put a hold reacting to the plea filed by Ranaut’s lawyer.
