Filmmaker Karan Johar is gearing up to host the most awaited show, Bigg Boss OTT. As the premiere date is nearing, the latest report suggests that Karan Johar will simultaneously handle two projects - one, of course, is the hosting duty of Bigg Boss OTT and the other is the shoot for Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh-starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. According to the latest report in Pinkvilla, KJo will kick-start shooting his directorial venture by the end of August, and will also juggle it with Bigg Boss OTT.
The report stated, “While Bigg Boss OTT starts from Sunday and will go on till September-mid, Karan will also start shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer and Alia from this month. He is aiming to begin that from August-end and will juggle the same with Bigg Boss OTT around the same time. He is really excited for both these projects.”
Bigg Boss 15 will premiere on August 8 on Voot. Karan Johar will be hosting the show on digital while Salman Khan will host on TV.
Recently when Karan was asked which two celebrities he would like to take inside the Bigg Boss house if given a chance, he said, “I don’t mind entering the show with Bebo (Kareena Kapoor Khan) and Mala (Malaika Arora). OMG! It would be so much fun with both inside the house, trapped without phones.”
Talking about his film, Karan announced his next directorial only last month on social media saying, “Thrilled to get behind the lens with my favourite people in front of it! Presenting Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, headlined by none other than Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan & Sumit Roy.”
