Muhammad Ali passes away at 74, Bollywood pays tribute

Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali passed away on late Friday evening at the age of 74. The 3-time world Heavyweight Champion breathed his last at a hospital in Phoenix, where he was being treated for respiratory complications. Ali was suffering from Parkinson’s disease for the last 32 years.

The 3-time world Heavyweight Champion breathed his last at a hospital in Phoenix, where he was being treated for respiratory complications. Ali was suffering from Parkinson’s disease for the last 32 years.

From allegedly throwing his Olympic gold medal in the river to proclaiming “I’m the greatest! I’m the King of the world” after beating the then-champion Sonny Liston in Miami in 1964, Ali was as known for his antics outside the ring as he was for his stellar career.

Shocked by the news of his demise, Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to mourn the loss of the legend.
