The Uri Attack and the consequent stand which will be taken by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi now is the talking point of the country.

The business of entertainment has also had ramifications.

The latest is that Dr. Subhash Chandra, ZEEL & Essel Group Chairman, is considering stopping Zindgi programs from Pak. He has also written that artistes from there should leave.

Subhash Chandra's move has met by and large with a positive response.

Not too long ago, in May 2014 to be precise, Subhash Chandra had met the Pakistan PM, Nawaz Sharif as ZEEL announced the launch of its new Hindi GEC Zindagi, primarily with content from Pakistan. He had then even showcased a glimpse of the channel to Mr Sharif. This was then described as a true 'Jodey Dilon Ko' moment, but obviously things have changed now.
