Sushant Singh Rajput Death: CBI, NCB And ED Tell Bombay High Court No Information Has Been Leaked In SSR Death Probe

As per reports in PTI additional solicitor general Anil Singh confirms to Bombay HC that no information was leaked by CBI, NCB and ED in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case

The investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is still ongoing, with three agencies on board. As per reports in PTI, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Enforcement Directorate who are yet to arrive at the final report, have informed the Bombay High Court that no information has been leaked in the actor’s case death investigation to the media. This was put forth in Bombay High Court on behalf of the three agencies by additional Solicitor General Anil Singh.  

The agencies came under the radar of Bombay HC with the constant media trials of this case. Anil Singh presenting the three agencies mentioned no leak of information has taken place, as they all know their responsibility well. Anil Singh said, "We know our responsibilities and there is no question of leaking information by any of the agencies." Also, the judges who are in charge of Sushant Singh Rajput's death case were quoted saying on the media trials, "The media was neutral then (in the past). It is now highly polarised….This is not a question of regulation, this is a question of checks and balances. People forget where to draw lines. Do it within lines."

The hearing of the case is scheduled to take place next week.

Currently, while the CBI is investigating the main cause of the actor’s death on June 14, 2020, ED is checking into the money laundering matter and NCB is looking into the drug angle which came to the surface after certain WhatsApp chats were revealed. Meanwhile, Sushant's alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty who was arrested by the NCB, was given bail, while her brother Showik Chakraborty is still in custody.
