Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Siddharth Pithani Reaches CBI's DRDO Guest House For Third Round Of Questioning

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is being probed by the CBI, after the Supreme Court passed its verdict on Wednesday. The agency has been acting swiftly ever since the CBI team arrived in Mumbai. On Friday, the CBI teams started with questioning and recording the statement of Sushant’s cook Neeraj. On days 2 and 3 of CBI probe, statements of Neeraj, Sushant’s friend and flatmate Siddharth Pithani as well as staff member Dipesh Sawant, were recorded. Now, Siddharth has reportedly been called for questioning for the third day in a row.

Monday, that is, today, marked the fourth day of CBI team in Mumbai investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. There had been reports that the CBI first wants to record statements of people who were present at Sushant’s residence on the day of the actor’s death. Reports in Times Now also suggested that there had been inconsistencies in the statements given by Siddharth and Neeraj. Now, Republic reports that Siddharth Pithani arrived once again at the CBI’s DRDO guest house for the third day in a row.

Meanwhile, CBI is also likely to question Rhea Chakraborty today, reports Times Now.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on the morning of June 14. In July, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR in Patna, Bihar against Rhea Chakraborty, her family, Shruti Modi and Samuel Miranda. The Supreme Court’s verdict came out on August 19, that is, on Wednesday, and the apex court ordered that the CBI would take over the probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
