Tiger Shroff is famously polite but the young star has found himself in the middle of a controversy.
In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, the actor said that he does not care about the “padding around him” while answering a question about his female co-stars in Student Of The Year 2.

Two star kids, Sridevi-Boney Kapoor’s daughter Jhanvi, and Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya, will reportedly star opposite him in the sequel .

When quizzed about it, Tiger replied: “When I work with someone who is my junior, I know exactly what the person is going through. I’ve never felt the need to work with established actresses even though I have had the opportunity to work with the beautiful and fantastic Shraddha Kapoor (Baaghi) and Jacqueline Fernandez (A Flying Jatt). I don’t get involved with the casting at all. I don’t really care about the padding around me. It’s the script and my character that matter.”

And soon enough, the seemingly sexist comment made headlines.

The comment was also seen as a reflection of how “self-absorbed three-film old Tiger is.”

Tiger Shroff was slammed for not showing respect to his co-stars and for reducing them to “accessories in films, whose sole purpose is to make the male hero look good.”
