Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's daughter Vamika Kohli turned one yesterday. Fans poured love on the little munchkin. The third test of India Vs South Africa also took place in Cape Town. The cricketer was dismissed for 79. This was Kohli's first 50 of 2022 and it's special as he scored the runs on his daughter's birthday. Fans were happy to see him deliver a good performance. Given the occasion and his incredible performance on the day, fans started trending Vamika.

On Vamika's birthday, Anushka Sharma's brother Karnesh shared a collage of photos and penned a note. Sharing the picture, he wrote, "Happy growing up kiddo, lots more memories to the best parents."

The couple announced their pregnancy in August 2020 and welcomed their daughter Vamika last year. During a Q&A session on Instagram, Virat Kohli revealed the meaning of his daughter's name. He said, 'Vamika is another name for Goddess Durga.' He further added, 'We have decided as a couple to not expose our child on social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice.'

Last year, Anushka released a statement emphasising the need for privacy for her and Virat's daughter. She also thanked paparazzi and the fan clubs for not sharing pictures or videos of her daughter.
