SpotboyE has learnt that choreographer-director Remo D'Souza is leaving no stone unturned to roll the third instalment of Any Body Can Dance (ABCD) by 2017.
Says a source close to the filmmaker, "Remo is working on the script with his writing team. He's also identifying dancers he can include in the film."
Remo, who was a judge on dance reality show Dance Plus that ended last night, has already promised Banjara Girls and 13.13 -- two of the groups that made it to the show's finals-- an opportunity to work with him. Buzz is, they'll be groomed for ABCD 3.
Adds the source, "Remo and producer Sidharth Roy Kapur (of Disney UTV) have had a detailed discussion on this, and the latter would prefer if Remo rolls the third part of the franchise next year. However, Remo has a couple of other assignments including a film with Ekta Kapoor, which will keep him busy almost throughout 2016."
During the success bash of ABCD 2 a few months ago, Remo had said the film's lead pair -- Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor -- would be repeated in the third part as well. The actors too had expressed a desire to remain associated with the franchise.
So, is that happening? Reveals the source, "Varun and Shraddha are even willing to appear in a cameo, and chances are, they might end up with that."
