The one major lesson that COVID-19 has taught us is, home is the best place to be. No wonder producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Ahmed Khan have dropped plans to shoot Heropanti 2, starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, in various parts of Europe. They will now opt for locations in and around India.
Says a source close to the project, “Shooting all over Europe is not only unwise at this point of time, but it’s also unnecessarily expensive. We should explore more locations in India. And that’s what we are doing in Heropanti 2.”
It was in October last year when Tara Sutaria was announced as the female lead opposite Tiger Shroff. Tara slips into the role of Kriti Sanon who made her debut with Heropanti in 2014. The reports back then also suggested that the film shooting of the sequel will take place in 10 countries including London, New York, Moscow, Tokyo, and Manila. Looks like, with no end of the pandemic insight, the makers have taken a wise decision of exploring Indian locations.
