You Wore WHAT!?
Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are still on their Badrinath Ki Dulhania
promotional spree and they are looking super stylish doing so. Sonakshi Sinha manages
to make nightwear acceptable outside the bedroom and Anushka Sharma makes an
unlikely combination work.

Alia chose a mustard Archana Rao slip dress with lace
inserts and she paired it with a denim jacket by Only. I love the chill vibe that
the whole ensemble is giving out. And I especially love those Dior slingback
sandals.

As he has been doing for most of the promotional trail, Varun
went desi. It was a bright kurta and loose pajamas for him. Again, I love the
laidback vibe here.

While in Kolkata, Alia wore a custom palazzo and silk jacket
by Masaba. The blue and white combination is a classic and the palm tree motif
adds a touch of whimsy which Masaba is famous for.

Another day, another shade of yellow for Varun. This time he
wore a DiyaRajvvir kurta and waistcoat and trousers by Vikram Bajaj. And yes,
thanks to the snug kurta, I can't look beyond Varun's biceps. But let's talk
about those gorgeous monk strap shoes by Czar. They are sleek and sexy and all
things amazing.

When Alia and Varun came back to Mumbai, they were spotted
in something a little more casual. Basic tee and jeans for Varun and a tee
shirt for Alia with a message, that on me, would be ironical.

At the screening of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Alia wore a
very-much-in-trend athleisure look. She balanced the ultra sporty look by
showing off a hint of a lacy top.

Anushka Sharma shot for The Kapil Sharma Show is a summer
chic avatar. She wore a cold shoulder top and skirt by Hemant and Nandita.
Technically this abstract print top should not work with the striped skirt, but
it does. It SO does. And Anushka carries it with such ease.

Sonakshi Sinha launched the trailer of her film Noor in a nightwear inspired (?) look. This Lavish Alice ensemble had shorts, a negligee style top and a robe - so something you would sleep in. But, and there is a but, I really like it. It's casual yet dressy enough for a trailer launch thanks to the long jacket. Sonakshi styled it well with a lariat necklace and strappy sandals.

I love 'me' guy in a well fitted jacket but maybe not too fitted pants. Having said that it's always great to see Sushant Singh Rajput all dressed up and looking dapper.

Ummm... No. Just no. Sure, I get that Huma Qureshi wanted to be comfortable and hence chose this roomy ensemble but I am not buying it. It's just not working.
And it's not like she does not know how to do comfort and style at the same time. Together.
