Why Did Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Style Game Go So WRONG During The Sky Is Pink India’s Promotional Tour?

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has always raised the bar when it comes to fashion. The actress started off from almost nothing, and made some hideous appearances early in her career too, but as years passed, she aced her style game so well, that in no time Priyanka Chopra became a big name in the world of fashion. The actress always pushes the envelope and is never hesitant to try anything unconventional- remember her MET Gala 2019 look?

From the time she ventured into Hollywood, Priyanka further polished her vogue instincts and started making appearances which left us awestruck a lot of times. Be it her casual street style or red carpet avatars, PeeCee has been a favourite on the list of Fashion Police.

And that’s why, when Priyanka came down to India, recently, for the promotions of her film, The Sky Is Pink, I expected the actress to roll out stunning looks one after the other. After all, we get to see so less of her now in India. But unfortunately, I was left disappointed with every look she donned, well if not all, almost all. Not even once did the fashion queen made me feel WOW!

Some of her looks were plain bad too. Take for instance the Emerald green outfit she wore for a garba night in Ahmedabad- right from the outfit, make-up, jewellery and hairdo, nothing was in place. In fact, it went wrong on a very basic level when I noticed that the actress’ lehenga’s length is quite short- making her heels visible quite awkwardly.

And then, Priyanka wore a couple of pantsuits, which were so not cool! Be it the grey check suit she wore while departing from India, or the pink satin number she sported without an inner, or the pop orange pantsuit at the NBA India event- none of them struck the right chord in the style file.
