American popstar Jennifer Lopez made headlines once again as she performed at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy on Monday. The singer, known for her electrifying stage presence, did not hold back as she seemingly took a dig at her ex-husband Ben Affleck while boasting about her raunchy sex life.
During her set, JLo crooned her latest track, Up All Night, a song that many believe is a reference to her failed marriage with Affleck. “I’m up all night, dancing on somebody, living my best life. I bet you wish that you were by my side. I got tired of you breaking me down,” she sang, leaving fans speculating about the hidden message behind the lyrics.
She further turned up the heat by sharing intimate details with the audience. “I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don’t know about you but I do, and sometimes I like it hard,” she confessed, drawing loud cheers from the crowd. She continued, “Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow. But there’s other days... maybe because it’s a new kind of time for me, maybe because it’s summertime and it’s hot outside, I feel a little more naughty.”
Adding to the dramatic shift in her musical tone, JLo announced that she has decided to ditch her "love songs" for her European tour, instead choosing to perform her "anti-love songs".
Reports suggest that JLo’s new album is heavily inspired by her relationship with Ben. “Wreckage Of You was so specifically about Ben, and Up All Night points to where Jennifer is at in her life right now,” a source told The Sun. The couple divorced in February after two years of marriage.
