On what would have been Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman’s 44th birthday, Marvel Studios paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actor. Chadwick Boseman’s death in August this year left his millions of fans heartbroken. The actor, most famous for his role as T’Challa/Black Panther in the Marvel movies, passed away on August 28 after battling colon cancer. On Chadwick Boseman’s birth anniversary on November 29, Marvel Studios created a special ‘Black Panther’ intro montage in honour of the late actor.

Marvel Entertainment took to their social media and posted a montage video, a compilation of all sequences from the Marvel films that Chadwick featured in, as Black Panther, including Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The concept of the intro remains the same, with the Marvel page-turning opening, however, it includes footage from Chadwick Boseman’s appearances from the films. Apart from the pictures and scenes, the opening credit also includes some of the most notable quotes by T’Challa. One of the most famous lines from the films, “In times of crisis, the wise build bridges while the foolish build barriers,” has also been included.

Informing about the updated opening credits for Black Panther on DisneyPlus, Walt Disney executive Bob Iger tweeted, “To all fans of #BlackPanther: watch the film on #DisneyPlus late tonight, for a special tribute to someone that was and will always be near and dear to our hearts.” Check it out below:
