Hollywood veteran actor Tom Hanks was the first celebrity to be tested positive with coronavirus which was then followed by Juventus star Daniele Rugani, NBA player Rudy Gobert, the wife of President Justin Trudeau’s wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau and Idris Elba. The news of them being affected by COVID- 19 has shocked many. However, Tom Hanks, who has been released from the Australian hospital where he was in isolation with his wife Rita Wilson, who also tested positive for COVID- 19, has been advised to be in self-quarantine. Now the actor has shared a bittersweet update on his Twitter handle.
Today, Mr Hanks shared a picture of a typewriter by telling us what kept him busy during his quarantine in Australia. In his post, the 63-year-old actor stated the good news that one week after testing positive and staying in isolation, he has resumed household chores like ‘folding laundry and doing the dishes.’ On the other hand, the bad news is his wife Rita won 6 straight hands of gin rummy. LoL.
While sharing the picture of a typewriter, he wrote: “Hey folks. Good News: One week after testing Positive, in self-isolation, the symptoms are much the same. No fever but the blahs. Folding the laundry and doing the dishes leads to a nap on the couch. Bad news: My wife @ritawilson has won 6 straight hands of Gin Rummy and leads by 201 points.”
