As the festive season brings with it a spirit of celebration, multifaceted actor and global pop singer Shannon K recently released her latest single, ‘Chamka Chamka’, a peppy, high-energy Bollywood-style dance number featuring popular singer Altamash Faridi, under the label Saregama Music. Composed and penned by Raja Ali, the upbeat track brings together Shannon’s vibrant vocals and Altamash’s distinctive singing style, offering listeners a lively musical treat.

Talking about the song, Shannon K shared, “It’s actually my project, and I really enjoyed exploring a more playful, energetic, and traditional Bollywood side of my voice. A lot of my original music leans towards Western pop, so it was refreshing to step into that fun Hindi dance space and bring out the more playful and expressive side of my vocals. Altamash is an excellent singer, and even though I recorded in LA and he recorded in Mumbai, our voices came together amazingly well. With a song like this, it’s not just about singing the notes but also bringing personality, attitude and emotion into the performance. I hope listeners feel the same excitement I felt while bringing this song to life.”
