At the inaugural Rolling Loud India festival in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, Punjabi rapper-singer Karan Aujla experienced a surprising moment that quickly went viral. During his energetic performance, a fan hurled a white T-shirt toward him on stage. Initially, Aujla didn’t react when it landed nearby. After a brief pause, though, he picked up the shirt, wiped the sweat off his face with it, and then nonchalantly tossed it back into the crowd.
Rather than letting this interruption derail his performance, Aujla maintained his composure and kept singing without skipping a beat. His calm, collected response earned cheers from the audience, and many praised his maturity.
The incident has sparked mixed reactions online. Some users found it funny, while others condemned the act, calling it disrespectful and potentially unsafe. One person joked, “Shirt price before-100, later-1000000.”Another, writing in Punjabi, criticised the fan: “Yaar nah krya kro idaa, oh kuj nhi kehnda kisi nu, sarya da changa krda, pta nhi kyu khiji jande loki.”
Rolling Loud India made its debut at Loud Park in Kharghar with a power-packed, two-day lineup. Alongside Aujla, the festival featured international and local hip-hop heavyweights such as Wiz Khalifa, NAV, Central Cee, Don Toliver, Swae Lee, DaBaby, DIVINE, and more.
