A shocking incident has emerged from Bengaluru after a businessman was found dead at the residence of Kannada actress and former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Krishi Thapanda. Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the death, while an unnatural death case has been registered.
According to reports, the deceased has been identified as Vaishak, who had reportedly been staying at Krishi Thapanda's apartment in Bengaluru's RR Nagar area for the past few days. Police said he was alone inside the apartment when the incident took place. No suicide note or video message has been recovered from the spot so far.
Sources revealed that Vaishak had tried contacting Krishi shortly before the incident. However, the actress was reportedly in Nelamangala at the time and could not answer his call. He later allegedly sent messages indicating that he intended to end his life. After noticing the messages, Krishi immediately informed his family members. Despite rushing to the apartment, his relatives found him dead before they could reach him.
Following the incident, Vaishak's father filed a complaint with the police. Authorities have begun investigating all aspects of the case to establish the exact sequence of events and the reason behind the death.
Reports also state that Vaishak had previously been arrested in connection with an alleged extortion and threat-letter case involving a businessman. He was later released on bail, and the matter had remained under legal scrutiny.
Krishi Thapanda, who made her acting debut with Akira in 2016 and has appeared in films such as Eradu Kanasu and Kannadakkaagi Ondannu Otti, has not yet issued any public statement regarding the incident. Police investigations are ongoing, and further details are awaited.
