Rajinikanth Returns To Chennai, Thalaiva Gets A Big Welcome From Fans

Actor Rajinikanth regularly travels to the United States every year for treatment and medical examination. He usually goes for treatment in May-June every year. Rajinikanth left for the US after finishing filming this year and he has now safely landed in his home country Chennai on Friday, 9th July, early morning.

Wherever Rajinikanth goes his fans are always present around him. After arriving at Chennai airport along with his wife Latha, daughter Aishwarya and Dhanush in the morning, and as he stepped out of his car he was greeted by his fans with the chants of ‘Thalaivaa’. Every one of Rajinikanth's fans has huge respect for him and some even referred to him as "God" as he led his way out of the airport. The actor underwent a kidney transplant in the USA a few years ago and was supposed to travel for the US but he couldn't go last year due to the Covid-19 situation. he was unable to travel due to shooting commitments and a ban on international flights. Due to which he went to the USA with his family on June, 26.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajinikanth recently completed the shooting of his upcoming movie Annaatthe in Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City. Annaatthe is a rural drama Tamil movie directed by Shiva and featuring Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, and Khushbu Sundar in key roles. The film will be realising soon in this year's Diwali festival.
