On the professional front, Samantha has restarted the shoot of her coming mythological drama titled “Shakuntalam”. The move is directed by Gunasekhar, the shoot was put on hold due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The other prominent star casts are Dev Mohan, Aditi Balan, Mohan Babu, and Malhotra Shivan in important roles, the film is being jointly produced by Gunasekhar under his home banner Gunaa Teamworks and Dil Raju Productions.
