The actioner, which was released a week before the 2021 Christmas, has been garnering huge praise from the audience and critics alike. In fact, celebrities too showered heaps of praises on the actors and on ‘Pushpa’. And, the latest to shower love on the film is superstar Mahesh Babu. Telugu superstar appreciated the film on his social media handles. However, his tweet offended a certain section of users who trolled him for not mentioning Rashmika in his post.

 Taking to his Twitter handle, Mahesh wrote, “Allu Arjun as Pushpa is stunning, original and sensational… a stellar act. Sukumar proves again that his cinema is raw, rustic and brutally honest... a class apart.” In another follow-up tweet, he congratulated the team and said, “@ThisIsDSP what can I say.. you’re a rock star!! Congrats to the entire team of @MythriOfficial Proud of you guys!”

His tweets did not go down well with fans of Rashmika Mandanna. They slammed Mahesh Babu for not mentioning her in his posts. One fan said, “Huge disrespect from you!! Didn't even mentioned about female lead.”

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is the latest celeb to have tested positive for Covid 19. He shared the news on his Twitter handle and said he has isolated himself at home and has been following medical guidance. He also urged everyone who has not taken the vaccine to take it to avoid severe risk and hospitalization and also to follow all Covid 19 norms.
