Social media was divided into two when the Citizenship Amendment Bill was passed. A lot of people welcomed the move while many raised their voices against it. Bigg Boss 13's Tehseen Poonawalla does not seem to be in agreement with the Citizenship Amendment Bill. The evicted contestant who wants to be a politician took to his social media to state that he'll be marching to Jantar Mantar and will burn a copy of the bill. He has called it unconstitutional and illegal and has challenged cops to do whatever they can to stop him.

Tehseen took to social media to express his thoughts and wrote, "The economy is a mess, Onion prices are soaring, States are not getting their GST share, Taxe revenues are falling, The telecom sector is destroyed with investment in 5G is lagging, Infrastructure mess, Media employees are being laid off, Solution #CitizenAmmendmentBill along with NRC." In the next tweet, he wrote, "This #wednesdaymorning will burn a COPY of the unconstitutional #CitizenshipAmmendmentBill2019 at 11.30 AM. The cops may do what they can! The #CitizenAmmendmentBill is illegal and along with NRC will destroy our country, her values, economy & scientific growth! #CitizenshipBill."

Tehseen Poonawalla was last in the news when he expressed disappointment over the encounter of four rape accused in Hyderabad Rape Case. He had then shared that we are 'fast descending into a lawless state' and that 'two wrongs don't make a Right!' He had received a lot of backlash from netizens and even Ex-Bigg Boss 13 contestant Dalljiet Kaur had slammed him for his thoughts.
