The recent captaincy task in Bigg Boss 14 has got the contestants to push their limits and prove their place in the game. After the King and Queen captaincy task was called off by Bigg Boss, the previous captains of the house were the only ones allowed to participate in the box task. They have to stay for the maximum time inside a box. While Bigg Boss 14’s Jasmin Bhasin and Kavita Kaushik spend maximum time inside the box during the captaincy task, it was BB7 contestants Kamya Panjabi and Sangram Singh who broke records during their season.
Some years back, during Bigg Boss 7, contestants Kamya Panjabi and Sangram Singh were both in the same position as Jasmin Bhasin and Kavita Kaushik. During a similar box task for captaincy, Kamya and Sangram were the last two contenders who managed to stay inside the box. And, they broke records by not just staying in the box for 24 hours but more than 41 hours. Yes, you read that right! Kamya and Sangram created an international Big Brother record in Bigg Boss 7 India, on December 12, 2013. They stayed in the box for 41 hours 16 minutes.
Back in 2013, on BB 7, the task ended at 41 hours 16 minutes, leaving Kamya Panjabi and Sangram Singh breaking the record. They got out of the box and it was a tie. Later, the rest of the housemates were asked to select a captain, but unfortunately, the other contestants were also divided in two, which led to a tie again. Finally, the captain of the house was asked to vote and chose Sangram to be the next captain.

Meanwhile, according to a report, Kavita Kaushik is the next captain of the house. It was sanchalak Rahul Vaidya who chose her after Bigg Boss stopped the task. Both Kavita and Jasmin Bhasin managed to stay in the box till the very end.
