The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 erupted into chaos when Amaal Mallik and Farhana Bhatt clashed during a captaincy task. The conflict began after Farhana destroyed a letter sent on behalf of Neelam Giri’s parents, apparently to gain an edge in the challenge. This act angered the housemates, and Amaal snapped: in a heated moment, he snatched food from Farhana’s plate, hurled it aside, and even smashed the plate in the living area. Matters escalated further when Farhana called him a “B-grade person,” to which Amaal retorted with an obscene insult targeting her mother.
In a promo of the show released afterward, Amaal is shown attempting to make amends. He says, “Whatever I have told you about the **** thing, I am sorry, I don’t mean it. Baaki tereko accept karna hai to kar, nahi karna hai to mat kar. I am sorry about that statement.” Following the public backlash, Farhana’s team issued a scathing statement. “Amaal, the confidence you can’t show in front of the men in the house somehow only comes out when it’s the women,” they wrote. “How much of a man are you, really? Throwing food from someone’s plate isn’t drama — it’s pure disrespect. No matter how intense the fight, that kind of behavior is cheap, shameful, and completely unacceptable.”
They added, “You didn’t just cross a line — you erased it. Commenting on Farhana’s parents, especially her mother, was beyond low. She was genuinely hurt — imagine hearing such things from someone you once called a friend.” They also quoted Farhana: “That’s why I cried. I don’t even want my mom to come during family week and see people like this.”
In response, Amaal’s team defended him, asserting that Farhana herself had spoken ill behind her friends’ backs and had destroyed Neelam’s letter to provoke conflict. They wrote, “Everyone has crossed lines… let’s not act like only one person went wrong.” They also countered the criticism about Amaal’s confidence, noting, “We’ve all seen Amaal’s biggest fights have been with men.” The team claimed they had even stood by Farhana in previous disputes.
