This year’s theme, “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar,” introduces a completely renewed format: for the first time, it’s “Democrazy”—the house will be governed by the contestants themselves, with every decision, big or small, determined by them instead of the usual authority figure.Salman himself emphasized the novelty, declaring, “This time, the drama isn't just going to be crazy, it's going to be democrazy!”
The Big Boss house has also been redesigned to reflect the political motif, with decor inspired by a parliament setting. The contestant lineup combines television talent and digital creators: confirmed names include Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, couple Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Hunar Hale, Shafaq Naaz, Siwet Tomar, Khank Waghnani, Payal Dhare (Payal Gaming), and Zeeshan Quadri. Fans are also participating via a “Fans Ka Faisla” vote to choose between Mridul Tiwari and Shehbaz Badesha (Shehnaaz Gill’s brother) to enter the house.
Later reveals suggest the season will be the longest yet, with a run of around five months. With Salman at the helm, a politically infused house, and a format driven by contestant power, Big Boss 19 promises a season full of strategic drama and fresh twists.
