When Internet sensation Dananeer Mobeen spread the ‘pawri ho rahi hai’ fever on social media, many started sharing their own versions of the trend which was simply hilarious. In fact, many TV celebs joined the trend and made funny videos. This time it was Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan who was seen sharing a meme of the same which is a collage of his late father’s movie. The picture that was just shared on Babil’s account is a collage of Irrfan’s movie Karwaan, also starring Dulquer Salman and Mithila Palkar, which is a journey based movie.
In the first collage, we see the car that is captioned with ‘Yeh hamari car’, the second picture is of the actors with the car, stating, ‘Yeh hum hai’ and the third picture has Irrfan climbing on the car which is captioned with, ‘Aur yeh hamari pawri ho rahi hai.’ While sharing the picture on his photo-sharing app, he wrote, “Matlab haste haste daldiya bas.” Fans seemed to be enjoying the photo as it not only made hit them with nostalgia but also thought it was quite apt, considering the scene of the film. Among many, a fan commented, “That was an amazing movie... Saw it so many times over... So relatable esp for a backpack traveller” while another said, “Omg one of the best cool movie of your dad aside Maqbool simply great. He was a magician who had no boundaries. Seems like watching him right now. God bless his soul”
There was another one who praised the film, “Loved this movie Mr Khan was absolutely adorable ..! A die-hard fan of the great actor.”
Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29, 2020, due to a colon infection. He was diagnosed with the neuroendocrine tumour two years back and got treated.
