Week 46 (November 11- November 17) brought a mix of ups and downs in the world of television. The combination of Ekta Kapoor and Mouni Roy continued to top the leader-board with Naagin 2 retaining its number one spot. Another Colors show, Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki maintained its second spot.
Shivangi’s (Mouni Roy) efforts to avenge her mother Shivanya’s death in Naagin and the emotional-romantic track between Soumya (Rubina Dilaik) and Harman (Vivian Dsena) in Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki has struck a chord with the audience.
The Kapil Sharma Show saw a rise in viewership, climbing from No. 5 in week 45 to No. 3 this week. Guess, Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal’s presence on the sets had a lot to do with the increase.
Zee TV’S Kumkum Bhagya is consistent in its performance reigning over the fourth position. Ironically, the storyline of the show is repeating the same plot for the last 12 of months!
Sony’s dance reality show for kids – Super Dancer ascended the ladder, rising 4 points to be the 5th hightest watched show in the week
Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein are proving that family drama and saas-bahu sagas still hold a place in the heart of the viewers. The shows occupied the 6th and 7th positions respectively.
Zee’s supernatural show Brahmarakshas: Jaag Utha Shaitaan, starring Krystle D'Souza, Aham Sharma, Kishwar Merchant and Parag Tyagi is once again in the top 10 after 4 weeks. The re-entry of Parag has bought the audience back and the show is now on the ninth spot.
Colors’ Udaan and mythological show Karamphal Data Shani acquired the 8th and 10th spots respectively.
The channel's flagship show Bigg Boss 10 meanwhile came up on the 25th spot, the same as last week.
