Ishqbaaaz's Omkara aka Kunal Jaisingh is all set to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend Bharati Kumar on December 20. The actor announced his engagement in March on social media and alongside a picture of him and Bharati wrote, "Helloooooo fiance #newbwginnings." Later, the actor revealed to SpotboyE.com that he will be tying the knot in December this year. And now, the pre wedding festivities have already begun for this adorable couple.
Last night, the two hosted a Sangeet cum Engagement ceremony where Mansi Srivastava, Nakuul Mehta and his wife Jankee were few of the guests in attendance. Kunal and Bharati met on the sets of The Buddy Project and gradually fell in love. Talking about how love blossomed, the actor had told Bombay Times, “We were friends to begin with, love happened organically. During the shoot, it was a routine for some of us co-actors to leave for the set together. We spent so much time together that two years after we stopped shooting for it, we started missing each other. That’s when I realised that our relationship is beyond just friendship. The only question was if we were on the same page, as there was no official proposal. One day, I took Bharati out for dinner and asked her if we felt the same way about each other. She replied, ‘Yes’.”
