Another remarked, “Bhai me Ranveer singh ghus gaye hai shayad (sic),” suggesting Ranveer’s flamboyant style had taken over Akshay’s look. Yet another comment read, “Ranveer ke saath rehne ke lakshan but looking cool (sic),” implying that Akshay had adopted some signs of living with Ranveer—while still managing to look effortlessly cool.
Meanwhile, Akshay has a packed slate of upcoming films—Jolly LLB 3, Bhooth Bangla, Welcome To Jungle, Hera Pheri 3, and Haiwaan are all in the pipeline. The Jolly LLB 3 teaser dropped just a few days ago, ahead of its September 13, 2025 release.However, the film has run into legal trouble: lawyers in Pune filed a petition seeking a ban, claiming it mocks legal professionals and the judiciary, and both Akshay and co-star Arshad Warsi have been summoned to appear in court on August 28, 2025. Neither the actors nor the film’s makers have issued a statement yet.
Earlier this year, audiences saw Akshay in Sky Force, Kesari Chapter 2, Housefull 5, and Kannappa. Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2 performed reasonably well at the box office, while Housefull 5 and Kannappa fell flat.
